RENEWS.BIZ | UK offshore wind farms delivered 32 terrawatt-hours of electricity in 2019, according to The Crown Estate 2019 Offshore Wind Operational Report.
The report said that the top five projects supplied over one-third of offshore wind power, with the overall total enough to power 30% of UK homes.
The Crown Estate said that 1.8GW of new capacity became fully operational in 2019, bringing the total to 9.7GW.
A further 4.4GW is under construction, it said.
