Long-sought Iraq-Jordan pipeline hits new roadblock amid pandemic

FORBES | The COVID-19 pandemic poses a new challenge to a multibillion-dollar crude oil pipeline that would run from oilfields in and around Basra in Iraq to the Jordanian Red Sea port of Aqaba. Even though Baghdad and Amman have confirmed they will both continue pursuing the “strategic” project at a later stage, challenges abound.
