Delta suffers plummeting revenues as it burns through cash

FINANCIAL TIMES 🔒| US carrier Delta Air Lines suffered a steep fall in revenues as it burnt through cash at a rate of $100m a day, at the end of March. The Atlanta-based airline was hit with a first-quarter pre-tax loss of $607m because of the coronavirus pandemic. “We’re bumping along the bottom” when it comes to demand, said Paul Jacobson, chief financial officer.
